Kanban in Centurion and Cape Town

Once again it was time for Kanban trainings in South Africa. This time we had the pleasure of holding both an “Applying Kanban” as well as an “Improving Kanban” training, and all of this in two separate locations. We started with the training for advanced Kanban users “Improving Kanban” in Centurion. This time we did not go to Sandton because our friends from agile42 South Africa wanted to try out a new venue. And it was definitely worth it – we will surely do this again there! 😉 For the training, we were a small but distinct group of advanced Kanban practitioners with several years of experience. From the perspective of a European, I was very impressed with all that is happening on the other side of the planet!
For the “Applying Kanban” training, I had the fortune of travelling to Cape Town this time. And anyone who has been there knows that Cape Town is always worth the trip. In proper style, among the vineyards of the Steenberg Farm, I had the pleasure of working with 24 Kanban beginners thirsty for knowledge. Even my extremely hoarse voice could not damper the sensational learning atmosphere there. Thank goodness!
Even though there were some hindrances on my part due to illness, the Kanban trip was still a very successful one, in a great deal due to the very active support of Katrin. A thank you also goes out to our friends Janine, Peter and Mike for the inspiring talks and the braais!
And this will not have been the last time we train in South Africa. We are already working on finding dates for 2016. Best case, there will again be Kanban trainings in double pack; one in spring and one in fall. If you are interested, go ahead and let us know!
